How to get from Lisbon airport to Villa Ferreira?

It is necessary to have a vehicle. You can go through several car rental platforms:

From the airport

Many agencies are located outside the airport and sometimes even a few kilometers from the airport. When you arrive at Terminal 1, after collecting your luggage, you turn right and exit the terminal through door N4.
Outside, in front of the Aerobus 1 bus stop, a representative of your rental agency will pick you up with a free shuttle. If you arrive at Terminal 2, you will first need to go to Terminal 1 and then gate N4.

If family or friends are visiting you, or are arriving at a different time, they can take the Lisbon bus and meet you in Caldas Da Rainha (a town 15 km from home) where you will need to pick them up.

How to take the bus from Lisbon Airport?

You need to take the bus from SETE RIOS bus station in Lisbon. The quickest way to get from Lisbon Airport (LIS) to Sete Rios (Station) is to take a taxi which costs €8 – €10 and takes 6 min.

You can then take a Lisbon bus (Rede Expressos) for an average price of €11 per trip and a journey time of 1h10. Your destination should be Caldas Da Rainha bus station.

18 buses per day with a first departure at 07:00 and last departure at 22:30.

I recommend booking your ticket at least 1-2 weeks in advance as ticket prices tend to increase as the travel date approaches. It is also possible to buy tickets directly at the ticket offices in the bus station.

You can bring one piece of hand luggage and one piece of checked luggage. Your checked luggage must not exceed 20kg.
